„Ghosts remind us that we live in an impossible present – a time of rupture, a world haunted with the threat of extinction“ (cf. Anna Tsing, Heather Swanson, Elaine Gan, Nils Bubandt, Arts of Living on a damaged planet, S.6)
Experiments of touching coexistence with slime mold and human skin in an aesthetic between science fiction and alchemy. What can it feel like to merge with a slime mold? Which alien and at the same time familiar worlds or ghosts can be discovered in a more-than- human anthropocene? An attempt at an artistic exploration of the tentacular interconnectedness and the ghosts of human and slime mold matter.
