As another communication medium within the exhibition, a brochure was offered that displayed the card decks used in the expert interviews and specific game instructions. The card toolkit was placed on two A3 sheets printed on both sides, and crop marks were added to the paper. Exhibition visitors were invited to perform a routine task (i.e., cut out the cards), thus initiating their own incubation phase.

 

The card deck consisted of 16 common actions taken by designers, red error, blue A.I. (25% / 50% / 75% / 100%) and green human cards (0%). The game instructions were printed on typical cyan tone paper and supplemented with tracing paper. The aim of the toolkit was to invite visitors to reflect on their own design processes and adapt these processes to future conditions. It was also intended to broaden visitors’ worlds of thought and to promote discourse.
